Christmas in Germany

I Am SO GLAD Malea and I got the opportunity to go to Germany over Christmas and New Years. It was such a fun time to be somewhere else in the world...to see their traditions and experience the holidays with them! We traveled a lot of the country- from Frankfurt to Munich then up to Bonn and Dusseldorf and back to Frankfurt. We saw Neushwanstein castle, cathedrals, basilicas, palaces and enjoyed time with friends and their families! After a night that still brings a smile to my and Malea's face- New Years Eve in Frankfurt (it was Crazy! If I were...

This was inspired by Megan. Thank you for getting me out of my Blog Slump! If I were a month...I would be April. Because I like Diamonds and Flowers and Springtime! :) If I were a day of the week...I would be Thursday. It is so over looked. A lot of the fun things I get to do with friends and family end up happening on Thursdays. All of the other nights I have obligations so Thursday I get to choose what to do! If I were a time of the day... I would be 5 AM. I didn't know what that looked like until recently! It is a peaceful time. The world has not started its hustle and bustle. I can meditate, exercise, lay in bed and think of the day to come, sit on my porch and drink hot chocolate. It is a lovely time when I see it! If I were a planet...I would be our beautiful and magnificent earth. How to Travel Solo as a Single Woman

Being a 31 year old single woman born and raised in the United States, I have heard more than enough stories of how unsafe it is for women to travel and that in doing so bad things would happen. How could a woman possible leave the comforts of home without knowing a soul, and know that she would be okay? Not sure what I would find, I set to searching the internet for first hand stories of travelers- from Women who had braved it and did it well. I was tired of feeding into the same old tales and folklore of taboo travel (while still understanding and respecting that bad things DO happen to good people as well). What I found on the internet surprised and delighted me! Story after story of positive experiences from women from all over the world who had chosen to travel solo.
